Trinity High School Nyakisi Excels in UNSA and Debate Competitions – End of Term 3 On October 14th, 2023

In a remarkable showcase of academic prowess, Trinity High School Nyakisi, under the guidance of UNSA and Debate Patron Akugizibwe Lucky, has concluded Term 3, 2023 with outstanding achievements. The school, supported by the administration, actively participated in debates, poetry, public speaking, and the Kyenjojo District DEC UNSA elections.

UNSA DEC Elections: On October 14th, 2023, a delegation led by Akugizibwe Lucky attended the Uganda National Students Association District Executive Council Elections at Kyenjojo SS. The four-member team, consisting of Natukunda Benjamin, Kenema Evelyne, Muhekyi Dorcus, and Wamani Anold, represented Trinity High School Nyakisi. Despite fierce competition among 17 schools, Muhekyi Dorcus emerged victorious as the District UNSA Secretary for Women's Affairs.

Debates, Poetry, and Public Speaking Competitions: Trinity High School Nyakisi continued its winning streak at St. Leo’s College-Kyegobe, participating in debates, poetry, and public speaking competitions organized by the Rotaract-Club of Kabarole. Wamani Anold, Ntulinda Maureen, and Natukunda Benjamin showcased their prowess in debates, with Wamani Anold consistently recognized as the best speaker in their debate rooms. Muhekyi Dorcus participated in public speaking, while Ahimbisibwe Joshua impressed in the poetry competition, reaching the semi-finals.

Apart from the competitions, mental health professionals delivered insightful speeches on preventing mental illnesses, adding an educational dimension to the event. The day concluded successfully, with Trinity High School Nyakisi students demonstrating exceptional skills and enthusiasm.
